Massive/Bell

Main characters: Carmen, her mother, Maria, Nana, Lisa (Carmen's aunt), Granddad, Billy, Paisley, Brian (Carmen's stepdad). Setting: Birmingham, England. This book is about both Carmen and her mother having eating disorders. Maria, Carmen's mom is constantly dieting and trying to get Carmen to do the same. Carmen sneaks food that her mom doesn't want her to eat and eventually becomes obsessed with the same bad habits her mom has of binge eating and throwing up.
