Doute ou Certitude (Using the subjunctive)

Expressions of doubt take the subjunctive:

Je doute que...
Je ne crois pas que...
Je ne sais pas que...
Il est probable que...
Ce n'est pas vrai que...

Expressions of certainty take the indicative
Je sais que ...
Je dis que...
Je crois que...
Je vois que ...
Je pense que...
Il est vrai que ...
Il est évident que ...

* When Croire and Penser are interrogative they take the subjuntive beacause of the element of doubt.

* There is no future with the subjunctive. Use the present subjunctive to refer to an action that you "might" do in the future.
