If and When (si et quand)

Note these differences.

A. Je te téléphonerai, si j'ai le temps (if I have the time)

Main verb (future) ... si (présent)

B. Je te téléphonerai quand j'aurai le temps
(when I will have the time)

Main verb (future)... quand (future)

Constructions with these words will also use the future when the main verb is in the future.
