Agreement - Ch. 19 (Pt. 2) Subject and Verb

Choose the verb that agrees with its subject. A verb should always agree with its subject in number. The verb "were" is plural except when it is uded with the singular subject "you" and with any singular subject in clauses that are contrary to fact.
