S.F. Chapter 7 Water on Earth - Sequence

Sequence
Sequence is the order in which events happen.
Sometimes writers use clue words such as first,
next, then, and finally to show sequence.

Sometimes you can infer what will happen next.

Science Article

You often walk only a few steps to get a cool
drink of water. But how far did the water move
before it reached the faucet? In many towns,
water goes through many steps to get to your
faucet. First, water falls as rain and may collect in a lake. Next, it is pumped to a treatment plant where it is made safe to drink. Then the treated water is pumped into a high water tower. Finally, water flows down from the tank and into pipes. You can turn on your faucet and get that drink.
