This is my fourth year teaching 5th grade math/science and my second year teaching all girls in a single-gender setting. In August of 2008, I earned a Masters of Arts degree from Furman University in Early Childhood education. I also have a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of South Carolina-Upstate in Elementary Education. Just recently, I earned "Teacher of the Year" of BSIS for the 2009-2010 school year. I have a sincere passion for helping students achieve their goals, and I believe that there are no limitations on one's ability to be successful in his or her learning! I love creating new activities and materials that accommodate to all types of learning styles. Please feel free to contact me at any time. Please check frequently for current information! **Parents, please check your child's agenda nightly for assignments and important messages. In order to communicate that you have done this, please initial or sign at the bottom of the agenda each night!** If you need anything, please feel free to write a note in your child's agenda, email me, or call me at 864-949-7600.
