About me |
We are getting ready to go into super work mode to ensure that all the third graders pass the third grade guarantee and to be ready for the jump to fourth grade next year. Things are starting to get more difficult and activities are requiring more critical thinking skills. Please make sure to encourage your child to do their best and put forth 100% effort, even though the work may be difficult. As always, we love the partnership that we have found with our parents and look forward to the rest of the year! |

Upcoming weeks:
April 23-May 5
We will be continuing to pull small reading groups to work on isolated skills with the students. We will be focusing on informational texts and on writing to provide information (informational essays). We will also be continuing to support student growth in the areas of vocabulary, reading fluency, and reading comprehension. We will be looking at what the students need practice in and grouping them accordingly.
We will be reading a fabulous text during this unit. The adventures of Oliver K Woodman. It is about a inanimate woodman who travels across the united states. We will learning about different states so if you have anything that you could share with our class lease let me know. |
