About me |
Hello and welcome to another fun year of school at Centennial. I look forward to working with you!! I graduated from HCHS in 1995 and attended Grand View College in Des Moines, Iowa, where I majored in mathematics and basketball. (Just kidding--I played college basketball and could have just as easily got a major in it :) I have been teaching for (eek!) 12 years and love every minute of it. I taught at Iowa State University. I then moved to Alabama where I taught 7th and 8th grade math at Baker Middle School. I also found time at night to get a degree in Health and Physical Education and coach college basketball at Spring Hill College. My next six years were spent in Iowa at Red Oak High School. I taught Algebra II, Trig, Basic Math, etc, etc, and coached track and basketball. This will be my first year in Arizona. I teach Algebra 2. I recently finished my second master's degree (UNI, class of 2010) in mathematics with an emphasis in secondary education. I am finally done with school!! That is until I find another interesting thing to major in :) I live here in Peoria with my two dogs, Darby and Callie. |
