The 2023-2024 school year is Profe Bartlett's 21st year as a Spanish teacher and 9th year at Green Sea Floyds High School. She has worked in many educational settings, including urban and rural, public and private, large and small.
She graduated with her B.A. in Spanish from Truman State University in 2002 and her M.A. in Spanish from Middlebury College in 2003. She has traveled extensively as a student in Costa Rica and Spain as well as leading two student trips to Costa Rica as an instructor.
Profe Bartlett is a native of Aurora, CO and spent the first ten years of her teaching career in that state. She moved to South Carolina in June of 2013 and was excited to put down roots in Marion, SC in June 2021. She is happily married to Nathan Bartlett, a geography instructor at Coastal Carolina University and has two delightful young sons, ages 11 and 9. |
