About me
I am not only a teacher I am also a dad and a husband. I have been married for nearly 12 years.  I have a 10-year-old and a 6-year-old (at least I did in December 2019). I am active in my church and play in the band every second I get. So, as you can see, I am a very busy guy.

I love spending time with my family!  I love teaching!  When I am not teaching, planning, or spending time with family (which is never), I fill my time with all sorts of stuff.

I am a runner, only 5k's and 10k's for now, I completed my first Half Marathon Nov, 2015.  Maybe one day I will train for a full marathon when my kids are older or even an Iron Man!

I also write and play music; I was in a band for about two years and traveled around the country before I started teaching.  It isn't as glamorous as it sounds, for example, we lived in an RV and camped out in Wal-Mart parking lots many nights. My bands name was Waving at Strangers.  Because of the band I have been in 45 states.  I have not been to Alaska, Hawaii, North or South Dakota, or Idaho.

I read many books, both fiction and non-fiction. Most of the books involved subjects that range from US History to religion to psychology.  What can I say, I love what I teach! Two of my favorite authors are James Bradley and Malcolm Gladwell.

Some TV shows that I watch are: Walking Dead, New Girl, Modern Family, Big Brother, and any TV show that has to do with surviving like Survivor Man or Man vs. Wild.  I am pretty sure that I could survive in any situation now because I watch so many shows.  Key words: Pretty Sure.

I LOVE THE ATLANTA FALCONS, ATLANTA UNITED, AND ATLANTA BRAVES.

I also really like watching quirky movies that most people hate.  Because I am a teacher, I am not going to list those.
