I am a product of the Harlandale ISD. I attended Bellaire Elementary, Terrell Wells Middle and McCollum High Schools. I graduated from SouthWest Texas State University with a bachelor's degree in Applied Arts and Sciences. I teach BCIS under the Career and Technology Education Program.
I have worked in education for 20+ years. This is my 17th year of teaching and nine of those years were teaching at HISD schools. Before I started teaching I worked in the HISD district and campus offices as an administrative assistant. I also was a substitute teacher in HISD during the years I was finishing my degree.
I plan to go back to school in the Spring to finish up my Masters Degree.
I have three children, two of whom attended McCollum HS.
I live on the south side of San Antonio.
I've lived in San Antonio most of my life with a few years in Canyon Lake and two years in San Marcos. |
