I have been teaching graphic arts for 28 years at Walton High School. I have an A.A.S. degree in Graphic Arts and Advertising Technology from New York City Technical College and a B.S. degree in Printing Management from Rochester Institute of Technology. In addition, I have M.S. degree in Counseling from Georgia State University. Prior to teaching I was a production planner, estimator and customer service representative for several printing companies in the northeast. In 2004 I took advantage of an opportunity through the National Board of Professional Teaching Standards and achieved National Board Certification. It is not uncommon for me to scrutinize the menus at restaurants or wherever I go to see how they are printed. Our program has been Industry Certified since 1998. Most recently, I was honored to receive Walton's Jackie Auerbach Award in 2020. The graphic communications industry is an ever changing and growing business with lots of fun along with a lot of opportunity.
