About me
The Sun and the Water were friends. The Sun often visited the water. One day, he asked the Water why he never visited the Sun at his house. The Water told the Sun that the Sun’s house was not big enough and that if the Sun wanted the Water to visit, he needed to build a bigger house. So, the Sun and his wife, the Moon, built a bigger house and invited the Water and his people to visit. At first, the Water only came in a little bit. Then, more of the Water’s people came in the house. Next, a lot of the Water’s people came in the house and filled the house up. There was no room for the Sun and the Moon, so they had to perch on the roof. The Water continued to come in the house and forced the Sun and Moon into the sky. That is where they have stayed.

The article Raising Raptors is about adult raptors raising their chicks.
First, the raptors must build a nest. They have to get sticks and moss for a pillow. The raptors lay their eggs in the nest.
Next, the raptors must feed the chicks and protect the nest. The Dad goes to get food and the Mom stays to protect the chicks. When the Dad comes back, they rip the food apart because its too big for the chicks to eat. Then, Mom and Dad must hunt because the chicks grow bigger and they need more food.
Then, the Mom and the Dad teach the fledglings how to fly. The fledglings use their wings to flutter.
Last, the Mom and the Dad teach the young raptors to hunt. The raptors learn to still-hunt; to perch on a branch and look down for prey. They learn to hawk; to catch prey with their talons while they are still flying. Last, they learn mantling; to protect their food.
It takes time for adult raptors to teach their young.
