I was born in Miami, FL, a very different time and place from today. I attended the University of Miami for English Education (Go Canes!), and Nova Southeastern University for my Masters in Educational Leadership. I have been a National Board Certified Teacher for over 10 years. I have served more than 10 years as an administrator (Assistant Principal, Principal, Director). I have worked in public, private and charter school education. I also was the Lead Teacher for a Magnet Program. I am currently the Literacy Coach for West Broward High School in Pembroke Pines, Florida and enjoying every minute of it.
