I am a National Board Certified Teacher in Weston, Florida. I teach grades 9-11, English I, II, III, Regular and Honors. Both of my children have attended Cypress Bay; My son, Felix, graduated in 2009, and my daughter, Stephanie, graduates in 2012. I have been at Cypress Bay since 2006.
Before Cypress Bay High School, I served as Assistant Principal for Hollywood Academy of Arts and Science, a K-8 charter school in Hollywood, Florida. I have been in education since 1988 serving 11 years as a teacher, and 10 years as an administrator in magnet, charter, private and public schools. I enjoy working with young adults and teachers.
My motto is: When you stop learning, you stop living. I try to challenge myself and my students daily to become better learners, a better teacher, and most importantly better people. |
