WELCOME BACK TO SCHOOL!
I look forward to meeting new students and seeing some familar faces as well.
Like my students, I am excited about the challenge of English III. Junior year is truly a turning point, for it nudges students into the reality of life beyond the high school experience and invites them to create a vision of the future they desire.
The focus of English III is on the development of real world communication skills as well as the study of American Literature.
Strong literacy skills are a requirement for success in both college and career.
Thus, the course goals for English III include the improvement and refinement of reading, writing, listening, and speaking.
