Born in Brazil, I always dreamed of being a teacher. I graduated in Physical Education from the University of Uberaba then worked for six years in public schools in São Francisco, MG. I immigrated to the United States in 1998, but never forgot my roots. As an immigrant, I decided to make the most of this new experience and with the support of my family I returned to college to study Spanish.
