About me |
I live in Minneapolis with my husband and our daughters Emma (6) and Nora (3). I speak French to my daughters at home a little bit and my husband speaks English. As a family we’ve had fun in the summer going on walks, playing at the park, swimming at the beach and gardening. I also enjoy walking, knitting, reading, playing the harp, travel and most of all, spending time with my family. I graduated in 1991 from the University of MN with degrees in French and French literature. I received my teaching licenses through the University of St. Thomas. Most recently I have been continuing post graduate work specializing in Reading at the University of St. Thomas to add to my master's degree. I teach because children and helping them learn are my passion. This will be my 20th year teaching. I’ve taught high school French, 2th grade (in French), 3rd grade (in French) and 3rd grade English. Year twenty is a great place to be in a teaching career because I can combine experience with the excitement of new ideas that come up each year to make a dynamic classroom. |
