Salve/ Salvete!
Over the past few years, I noticed that many  students assumed that cramming was a sufficient learning method.   However, when one crams,  the material never makes it into the student's long-term memory--and it NEEDS to get to the student's long-term memory!

This was frustrating to not only me, as the teacher, but also to the students.  Why?  Because every language requires vocabulary and grammar rules.  Students  who crammed for vocabulary quizzes did not LEARN their vocabulary as it only went into their short term memory.  Since these students never retained this knowledge, they wasted their time cramming for they wasted an enormous amount of time flipping around the textbook to define the same words they would have mastered if they  had STUDIED PROPERLY and entered the material into their LONG-TERM MEMORY!

Clearly, this wasted A LOT valuable time.  Moreover, students who crammed just weren't as successful in Latin as they could have been!

On this website you will find activities and games to practice Latin vocabulary and grammar. You will find activities appropriate for your stage by clicking the link to your class (red, blue, green).

If you have difficulty getting your required vocabulary into your LONG TERM MEMORY,  I suggest you also make flashcards --home-made, computer sites (link to one below) etc.  LEARN your vocabulary and forms so the material is stored in your LONG TERM MEMORY.

Frankly, I urge you to LEARN HOW TO LEARN!
