About me
 While growing up, I gained a deep interest in learning foreign languages and new cultures.  My father is from Greece and consequently I learned some of the Greek language, enjoyed some great food and had an awesome opportunity to explore Europe.  While in high school, I enrolled in a German program and investigated an entirely new culture and language.  I have studied abroad in Lüneburg, Germany and Salzburg, Austria.  Both experiences were very rewarding and allowed me to gain a deeper perspective in the German culture. 

Since 2006, I have instructed German at Washington High School.  I have led two groups overseas during the summers of 2013 and 2016.  Both trips were amazing and I am planning another for the summer of 2018.  In addition to German, I also teach English as a second language at the high school and supervise the district ESL Program. 

I live in Columbus and just married my beautiful wife Lindsay this past summer :)

 I am  thrilled to see so many students in Washington Court House chose to study German!  Learning a foreign language opens your mind to new ways of thinking, enhances your understanding of the English language, and allows you to connect to an endless supply of opportunities!  Oh yeah, the food is also GREAT!
