My name is Lori Falcone and I have been teaching Instrumental music since the fall of 1990. I began teaching at Seneca Ridge Middle School in Sterling, VA. In 1991, I married my husband, Anthony Falcone, and followed him to James Madison University where he taught percussion. I took a Band/Vocal job at Luray High School (8th-12th). He took a job with the University of Arkansas Bands and I took a job as a Band/Vocal teacher at Prairie Grove Schools (6th-12th). Then, he was hired at the University of Nebraska - Band and we moved to Lincoln. I taught at Palmyra Jr/Sr High as a Band/Vocal teacher. Then, I finished my Masters of Music in Conducting at UNL. After that, I opened Lincoln Southwest HS and taught Band/Jazz/Orchestra there for 5 years. When my first daughter was born, I moved to Scott for 1 year and taught 6th grade Band and 7th grade Vocal Music. I returned to LSW for 1 year and then I had twin girls so I am returned to Scott for a second time. I have been teaching Band 6, Band 8, Prep Jazz and Jazz Ensemble since Fall 2009.
