This is my eleventh year teaching at Yorkville Middle School. I graduated from Monmouth College with a degree in Education and Spanish and later finished my certification for a Reading Specialist program through the University of St. Francis. Yorkville Middle School has given me many amazing teaching opportunities including Spanish courses, communications and resource classes. This school year I am excited to be teaching seventh grade language arts. During my free time, I like to read and be active. I also enjoy playing with my children, Christopher and Charlotte, and my dog, Pappie. When I was a middle school student, I spent most of my time playing soccer, hanging out with friends and doing school work. :)
