John Meeks has been teaching social studies in Duval County Public Schools since 2002. He holds a Florida teaching certificate for 6-12 Social Science and has a K-12 Gifted Endorsement. He has taught M/J U.S. History, M/J Geography, M/J World History, and M/J Civics in his teaching career. He is a past teacher of the year (2005-06) at his school.
In addition to his work in the classroom, he has participated in various state and local committees including civics test item review, achievement level descriptors, textbook adoption, curriculum design, and pupil progression. |
