This is a 12th grade senior classroom for students at Fonda-Fultonville to get credit for either an economics or a political science course. Some may be taking a course through Fulton-Montgomery Community College. This is an on-line supported evaluation system to enhance instruction and students needs for more 21 century based skills. |

I hope students find the course relevant to their new adult lives. Economics and politics should be learned and understood so students are competitive in the job market, and can understand their actions as consumers, producers, borrowers and lenders. Young people should question political practices that don't speak to their needs. Political activation doesn't require a PhD, but it does ask that participants know the facts and make plans not just to call out problems they see, but to critically address issues and provide possible solutions. |
