About me |
I have been in the field of speech-language pathology for 30 years where I worked with infants in early intervention, preschool children, school aged children, adolescents, and adults and geriatrics. I have worked at Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation for 15 years and served as the Director of the Speech Audiology Department in East Orange, NJ. I have published books in the field of speech-language pathology and lectured both at the state and national levels. I am also an adjunct professor at Kean University and Seton Hall University. I am also currently working on my doctoral degree in the field of Speech-Language Pathology at Seton Hall University. My area of interest is in abstract language in school aged children with a specialty in idiom development for comprehension and use. I have enjoyed the many facets that this field has to offer and still find it very exciting particularly with technological advances to make children enjoy the joys of learning how to correct speech sound disorders and improve expressive and language skills. |
