I received my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Illinois State University in 1979. I received my Masters of Education in Instructional Technology from Northern Arizona University in December 2006. I began teaching in the Chicago area and taught 3rd-6th grades for 4 years before moving to Texas. After a short stop in Texas, my husband and I moved to Georgia where our son was born. I spent several years enjoying being a stay-at-home mom before teaching 4th and 5th grades for two years at St. John Neumann regional School in Lilburn, Georgia. My family and I moved to Scottsdale in 1994. I was a substitute teacher in the Diocese of Phoenix for one year. I have been a teacher at Saint Theresa Catholic School since 1995. I taught 5th and 6th grade for 5 years, 7th and 8th grade science with an 8th grade homeroom for 8 years, computers for 3 years, and am now teaching 4th grade.
