I have been an educator for thirty years, eighteen of which were with the Miami-Dade County Public Schools. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Music from the University of Miami and two Masters degree from FIU, one in Education and one in Latin American History. I began as an ESE teacher at Carol City High, before switching to Social Studies at Barbara Goleman High. I now focus on Advanced Placement courses, teaching AP World and European History. As a College Board Reader, I am able to bring this training into the classroom and improve students' writing skills. I like the beach, love hiking in the mountains, and family dinners and reunions remain my favorite. I look forward to our journey together as we spend the next nine months traveling through human history!
