Every student can achieve a strong sense of accomplishment through learning. The trick is to know yourself, to work on your strong points and get help in areas you are weak in. Every person has many intelligences. They are: Linguistic intelligence ("word smart"): Logical-mathematical intelligence ("number/reasoning smart") Spatial intelligence ("picture smart") Bodily-Kinesthetic intelligence ("body smart") Musical intelligence ("music smart") Interpersonal intelligence ("people smart") Intrapersonal intelligence ("self smart") Naturalist intelligence ("nature smart") My goal as a teacher is to help you learn using as many intelligences methods as I can: your goal as a student is to use all of your intelligences in learning your subjects and, as you struggle to master them, discovering the young adult you are. Choose good friends: they will support you and grow up with you, not do foolish things and keep you from growing into a young adult, with talents and accomplishments. Appreciate adults who care for you: they too are struggling to make a living, and give you more opportunities in your life. |
