About me
It is my honor to be working with you and your student!  This is the website we will use for various practice, homework and assessment activities.  Please note that students will frequently need to also visit www.classzone.com, www.quia.com and other sites for practice activities, assignments, review and assessments.  Visit each site daily.

Tutorial times will be announced once the school year is in session.  Students who are off task or otherwise violate designated guidelines, may receive reprimand in the form of detention.  If your student does not report for assigned detention, a referral will automatically be submitted to appropriate disciplinary personnel for appropriate follow up.  All students, whether doing tutorials or detention, should arrive on time, equipped with all Spanish class materials, including writing utensil and text book.

Together Everyone Achieves More ("TEAM")!
I look forward to a positive, collaborative educational experience to assist all "Spanish Students Working to Achieve Goals!"  That's what we call, "SSWAG!!!" ;)

STUDENTS:
YOU ARE ACCOUNTABLE FOR YOUR SUCCESS!!!  Be prepared before logging into any available quiz!  Remember, you should be logging into www.quia.com and www.classzone.com regularly throughout each week!  You are required to log an hour outside of class weekly for www.quia.com.  Classzone.com gives you access to our book compatible information.

ATTENTION STUDENTS & PARENTS/GUARDIANS:
Students should log into the Google Classroom daily for our agenda.

All students are tasked with reciting the Student Creed at the beginning of EVERY class!  Knowing the creed will be an easy boost to your grade in Spanish!  GO SCHOLARS!!! :)

BE SURE TO FOLLOW OUR “PRESCRIPTION FOR SUCCESS IN SPANISH”...

DAILY PROCEDURES:
  Be in class and seated before the sound of the bell.  (Sign in if applicable.)

  Have all materials every day.

  Take care of personal needs such as locker visit, restroom, supplies, counselor, etc. before entering class.  (Students are not permitted to exit during instruction time.)

  Come in and quietly begin.  All off-line work should be dated (all quizzes, tests, reports and projects should contain name, date and class period).  Begin intro/board work identified in Google Classroom.  These activities are independent and normally require NO interaction unless specifically outlined in the instructions.

  Be sure that Standards, Essential Questions, Bell Ringer, and applicable Tasks are reviewed/completed in full:
Complete Bell Ringer (“BR”); occasionally requires a partner or group.
Complete Task(s); may be independent, paired or group oriented.  Read and follow directions to be sure!

  Any unfinished classwork is homework and should be finished the same day on student’s own time.

  Every day students are expected to study (homework, flashcards, online work, etc.) at least 20 minutes.

WEEKLY PROCEDURES:
  Attend Tutorial Sessions by appointment if necessary.  Prepare questions in advance so that you may get the most out of this additional support opportunity.
  If you have been absent, see teacher for handouts or to schedule make-up assessments (quiz/test) within one week of absence date.
  See a classmate to copy daily activities (photocopies or online "sharing" of documents is ok, but do your own work!), so that you will have details in your notes for any missed class.
  Practice using your vocabulary every chance you get!
