My wife's name is Constance. I have four children ,Meghan, Michael, and the twins, Kaylin and Timothy . They are all close in age, with only 5 years seperating the oldest from the youngest. I have 2 golden retrievers , 2 cats and 2 horses.
I am your American History / Maine History Teacher. I have been a teacher for 36 years . My students have won recognition for themselves and the school by submitting winning entries into the Maine History Day State Competition. Every year, some of our students qualify, by winning at this state competition, to represent Maine in the National History Day Competition in Maryland . On two occasions , our students have won more awards then any other school present at the competition . In the years we didn't finish first, we finished in second or third in overall awards.
I also coach 8th grade Boys Basketball. My experience comes from playing basketball at Bishop Loughlin Memorial H.S in Brooklyn , N.Y. . . Three years on Varsity. My coach was an ex-New York Knick. I also played four years on Varsity at St. Francis College / University of New England. My team won 2 NAIA conference titles. I am in the UNE , Basketball Hall of Fame. I played 3 years semi-pro basketball for a Maine Team winning 3 championships and the Portsmouth / New England Invitational Tournament. Last season record was 50 wins 3 loses. I have also coached at SMCC for a year , 2 years freshman boys basketball at OOB, 3 years of AAU basketball finishing in the top 5 in the state. I am also a licensed IAABO Basketball Official. I also coached H.S. Girl's JV . In the three years I coached , the varsity program went from not winning one game to making the playoffs consistently.
I also coach 8th grade girls Softball . I have coached at Southern Maine Community College , Women's Softball for two years. First year finishing runner up in the Tri-State league and playoffs and then the following year winning the league title and the championship. I have also coached Girls ASA 14 and Under and have a State Championship. I also coached a Windham team in the Bonny Eagle Summer league and won the Championship.
I also coached the Varsity Girl's Softball Team at OOB . The team went from a losing every game to finishing ranked in the standings, losing in the second game of the play - offs.
