I earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (Accounting) from West Virginia University in 1991. After college I worked for Mellon Bank and Highmark Blue Cross before joining the family business as a financial planner. I thrived while running Sanker Financial. After joining Kiwanis in 1999, I discovered my love of students and working with young people through Key Club and helping with the marching bad at my high school alma mater. I went back to school at Robert Morris University where I earned a Master's in Instructional Leadership and a Post-Baccalaureate teaching certificate. I left my beloved Pittsburgh and moved to East Stroudsburg to pursue my teaching career in 2006.
I work with the East Stroudsburg High School North Competitive marching band, advise Key Club at the South High School, and am involved in a variety of activities at school. You can catch me at most basketball games announcing for the gym audience.
"Though no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending."
~Carl Bard, Scottish theologian and broadcaster.
It doesn't matter what your past is, your future is in front of you. What will you do to make sure that future is as bright as possible. Will learn all you can? Will you do what needs to be done? Or will you be lazy and wither in the face of opportunity? The choice is yours.
