I am glad to have you as a student in my class this year. Students are offered the opportunity to complete several interesting & fun-filled hands-on and technology projects during the academic year. My goal is to increase the aptitude of my students via the use of technology application programs and to increase their verbal and written communication skills.
Principles of Information Technology develops technology skills with applications to personal or business situations focusing on word processing, spreadsheets, databases, telecommunications, desktop publishing, presentation management, networking, operating systems, emerging technologies and intermediate-level skills.
Digital and Interactive Multimedia (DIM) is designed to introduce you to the world of multimedia. You will learn about the fundamental principles for creating multimedia projects and will practice creating multimedia applications. Students will learn to define, create, and develop multimedia projects, both as an individual and as a member of a team. The software that will be utilized is Microsoft PowerPoint, Publisher, Adobe Photoshop and Premier.
