About me |
I have been teaching Music Appreciation for about fifteen years. I retired from the Wichita Public School system where I taught elementary vocal music for thirty-three years. I was also a team-teacher for a class in African-American Music History for three years at the high school level. I own and operate my own studio, La Centre de Musique, where I teach three piano students at a time, using electronic equipment. In addition, I teach private voice and organ. I am a member of the Gospel Music Workshop of America, a large international convention. I am the Chapter Representative at the local level and serve the convention as a faculty member and Coordinator of the Thurston G. Frazier Memorial Chorale, a group that sings anthems, spirituals and hymn arrangements for the convention. |
