About me |
I have been teaching 8th grade science and English at North Pole Middle School for several years. My focus has been mostly teaching Physical Science (Alaska Geology/Earth Science, Chemistry, Physics) for the past 4 years, and recently I am teaching Career Explorations. I also have an English and Biology background and hold a veterinary technician license. I have practiced in veterinary medicine for 15+ years and use my skills to teach puppy classes, train hunting retrievers, judge sanctioned events, and breed Labrador Retrievers. When I'm not teaching or training dogs, I spend time gardening, hiking, fishing, canoeing, picking berries, reading, cooking, cycling, creating art, writing, traveling, and volunteering in my community. |
