I have been a teacher at PHS for the past 15 years. For the first 6 years, I was the Cooperative Education Coordinator at the East campus. Prior to PHS, I was a Business Education teacher at Council Rock High School South. Before entering a career in teaching, I worked in private industry for 15 years in Information Technology as a business analyst, programmer, director of applications, and product strategist. Companies I worked for include Accenture (previously Andersen Consulting), Saks Fifth Avenue, Hanover Direct, just to name a few. I enjoy teaching immensely and am very happy that I made this career change.
I have been married for 28 wonderful years, and have 2 children, and a dog named Jack. Although I was born in India, I grew up in Lebanon, PA. I am a graduate of Penn State University where I received a B.S. in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing, and a Minor in Business Communications. I received my teaching certification from Gwynedd-Mercy College, and my Masters of Education degree at the University of Scranton. I am also an avid tennis player. |

My favorite part about teaching is helping students reach whatever goals they set for themselves. As the Co-op Coordinator, I have helped students with job placements, obtaining scholarships, writing letters of recommendations, and making career planning decisions. I am happy to help you with whatever you need - just ask! I'm looking forward to a great year.
