Hi, my name is Christopher Ford and am the newest member to the Special Education Department here at SHHS! For the past fifteen years, I have taught Special Education classes for the Washington County School System and am certainly glad to be here now! I am 40 years old and a graduate from ETSU. I hold a BS in Special Education and received my MEd from Middle Tennessee State University in Special Education with a concentration in teaching the blind and visually impaired. Along with my academic classes, I also coached baseball, football, basketball, and soccer. I played collegiate baseball for Tusculum until an arm injury sidelined me. I consider my strengths to be patience, a genuine love for learning, and the ability to always be flexible when interacting with others.
