Hello my name is Mrs. Terry LaRocco and I am a Social Studies Teacher at Salem High School...
I am a graduate of Roanoke College with a Bachelor's degree in History. I also received my M.A.L.S. degree from Hollins University in History and Social Science. I have also completed course work at the University of Oregon, the University of Virginia, St. Joseph's University, and Temple University.
I have been teaching at Salem High School for twenty-eight years in the Social Studies Department. I also work as an Instructional Coach for History & Social Science for Salem City Schools. I spent my first years in the profession at Roanoke Catholic High School.
I am married to Joe LaRocco, a Social Studies teacher at Cave Spring High School. We have two grown daughters, Jackie, a graduate of Roanoke College who is currently living in Washington, D.C. with her husband John and daughter Brigid, and Cathy, a graduate of Mary Washington College who teaches in Spotsylvania County.
