30+ years teaching in California, Kansas, and Missouri. Born in Texas. Lived in Mexico City, Mexico at age 15. Worked on federal grant with Mattie Rhodes in partnership with Kansas City, MO Health Dept., teachers, and ELL department, Kansas City, MO Public Schools to work with Hispanic families on social and learning issues. Ran summer school in Quito, Ecuador. Have taught at the college level, high school level, as well as elementary school level. |
