Sr. Cárdenas arrived to the USA in 1985, a native Spanish speaker from Ecuador.
Studied Secondary Education at Western Connecticut State University and graduated with a BS degree in Secondary Education (7-12) in Spanish.
Studied a Masters Program in Romance Languages at Southern Connecticut State University. Has been teaching Spanish since year 2001.
