About me |
Hello, my name is Mrs. Williams and I teach 7th grade Civics at Walton Middle. Since this is suppose to be "about me" I will share a little bit about myself. Well, to begin and to put plainly, I am a simple country girl with a big heart. I grew up in a small community that taught me many valuable lessons and helped mold me into the young woman I am today. As an educator, I feel that the majority of America's youth are not receiving the same support and love that I was blessed with as a child. This is why I feel obligated to give back some of the wisdom and motivation that was given to me to the youth today. My goal as a teacher would be that all my students succeed in whatever they want to do in life, but more importantly I hope that they learn more of "life lessons" that are not found in a textbook and can't be "Googled" online, but the kind of lessons that are learned from a friend or an elder. Because in reality, those are the lessons that help us all get to wherever it is we are going in life and to become whatever it is we are to be. I am very grateful that I have the opportunity to teach the "Me Generation" and look forward to seeing you in my classroom! |
