Idioms are expressions that have two meanings, literal or figurative. Read the following passages and decide if the idiom has a (L) literal meaning or (F) figurative meaning by choose either (L) or (F). Hint: Literal = words mean exactly what they say and Figurative = meaning you have to "figure out" from reading the way it is used in the passage. The idiom in each passage is the phrase written in capitol letters.
