Part I is closed book/notes/internet, etc. Allow 1/2 hour for 100 possible points on this objective battery of tests on Vocabulary, Background, Forms, Analysis, etc. When finished, be sure to SUBMIT your work to Quia.

A. Quote a favorite passage from the Aeneid. Cite your source. Write a well-developed Literary Analysis explaining
in why this passage has such strong appeal to the reader. Explain specifically how the Imagery, Figure(s) of Speech, and sound attract the reader; and how this passage contributes to Vergil's purpose in writing the poem. (20 points) (20 minutes)

B. LIST five (5) specific ways to generate interest in Foreign Language Learning in general and Latin in particular here in NHS and Kanawha County and beyond. (10 mins.) (20 pts.)
