Dewey Decimal 5th Grade assignment

Today, we're going to learn about the Dewey Decimal system. READ ALL THE DIRECTIONS BEFORE DOING ANYTHING!

1. Open this page about Dewey by clicking HERE.
2. You should have three internet windows open. (the library's web page, this page, and the dewey page) Do you? You can flip between windows two ways: holding down the Alt and tab keys on the keyboard, or by clicking on them at the bottom of your screen.
3. Use the information on the Dewey page to answer the questions on this page. You can navigate around the Dewey page by clicking the links on the right hand side.
4. Be sure you click SUBMIT at the bottom of this page when you're done so you can see your grade.
5. If you made a grade of 75% or higher, you may do anything else on the library webpage while you wait for everyone else to finish (games, check out author websites, etc.)
6. If you DIDN't make a grade higher than 75%, try the questions again until you do! Don't forget that you may ask Ms. Dickenson for help by raising your hand!
