Kinds of Sentences
A DECLARATIVE sentence makes a statement or tells something. It ends with a PERIOD.
An INTERROGATIVE sentence asks something. It ends with a QUESTION MARK.
An EXCLAMATORY sentence shows strong feeling. It ends with an EXCLAMATION MARK.
An IMPERATIVE sentence commands someone to do something. It usually ends with a PERIOD.
