Writing a paragraph with a simile or metaphor.
At some point in our lives, all of us have made a resolution that we have not been able to follow through with. Perhaps it was a New Year resolution, or made at another time of the year. Write a paragraph about a resolution that you have made and have failed miserably at living up to it. You must include one simile or metaphor in the paragraph.
For the person who has never failed at following a resolution, congratulations. However, I would like you to write about a resolution that you would find impossible to succeed at.
