Creating Questions by Inversion (formal questions)
Inverting or reversing the order of a verb and its subject pronouns is a more formal way of asking a question in French. This form is used with all but the "je" pronoun. Example: Are you going to Paris? Allez-vous à Paris? NOTE: When the verb ends with a vowel, a<b> t </b>is added between the verb and the subject: Example: Is he going to Paris? Va-t-il a Paris?
