HW # 16-Q1: Solving 2-step & Multi-step Inequalities

For full credit, you must get 7 of 10 questions correct.

Remember the following important hints:

1. With INEQUALITIES, when you MULTIPLY or DIVIDE by a NEGATIVE, it CHANGES THE DIRECTION of the inequality. For example, if I have -7x > 14 and I divide both sides by -7 to isolate the "x", the answer becomes x < -2. Did you notice that the inequality sign switched from > to < because I divided by a negative 7? I hope so, playa.

2. To destroy a fraction when solving an equation, multiply by the reciprocal of the fraction you want to destroy. Of course, what you do to one side of an equation, you must do to the other side also! So you shall multiply both sides by this reciprocal.
