Poder, Poner y Saber en pretérito

Write the indicated verb in the preterite tense. REMEMBER that poder and saber have SPECIAL meanings in the preterite.
Poder, used affirmatively, means that after trying hard the subject managed to do the action of the second verb. Poder used negatively means the the subject tried BUT could NOT do the action of the second verb. And Saber in the preterite means that the subject LEARNED OR FOUND OUT something.
