Read the excerpt below.

At night Lena's father would enchant her with hypnotic stories from his own childhood, tales of that distant country acrtoss the faraway sea. Her father told legends of noble heroes on righteous quests, kings and queens dispensing justice, warrior princesses and honorable deeds. After each story, he would remind her, "These stories are all the gold I have to give you. These stories are your inheritance."
