Emerson Quotes
Go to one of the web sites below. Spend at least ten to fifteen minutes reading the quotes by Emerson and contemplating their meaning. While browsing through the quotes, pick out five that appeal to you and your group.
Put these five in one group Word document, print it out, and put the group's names on the back.
Each member of the group should then type a short paragraph below explaining one on the quotations. Discuss the quotes meaning and why it appeals to you. Can it inspire or guide you? Can you apply it to your life?
This will be for an individual grade.
When finished with the individual part, the group should select one quote that they all like. The group will then create a word document that presents their quote in large type on a 8 1/2 x 11 piece of paper. This should be printed in color if possible an decorated will appropriate art. Well done quotes will be displayed in the class room.
